Far be it for me to add my two cents but, since they're free, I shall. If a picture is worth a thousand words then the thousands chanting a thousand times 'America Must Di...alogue!' whilst burning an upside down American flag pretty much sums it up.
The Persian people will never kow-tow to any foreign power and since we (the USA) are the biggest on the block, then they (Iran) obviously must presume the same doctrine as we in the "Monroe Doctrine"http://www.ushistory.org/documents/monroe.htm
It only seems natural to allow this to occur except how can we stand by and watch our allies in the region be 'purged' from the sight of Iran? With all good conscience how can we sit and listen to the echoes of the likes of Hitler and not rise up to strike it down before it can grow?
If you had Hitler in your sights in 1939, and knew what he was about to perpetrate, would you take the shot or hope to reason with him? I often ask myself this question and the only answer that seems to fit probability is one where it is already too late.
