The wait game has been played out for years now...with Iran and North Korea trying their best to wait out the UN, whilst we wait for them as well. Perhaps another angry letter from the UN will disuade the remaining "Axis of Evil" from their nefarious intent.
So far the North Koreans have blinked...much to the chagrin of those who hate conservatism... I'm sure the liberals are hand-wringing right now hoping Kim Jong Ill will retract his country's recanting of nuclear activities long enough for the next election cycle. That's how they think.
Meanwhile we wait to see what Iran will do, knowing full well Isreal won't stand around for too much longer.
What is it that we are waiting for...the first mushroom cloud over Tel Aviv? The Isrealis certainly won't wait for that and my only question is, 'Why do we wait?'.
To what end do we hope our diplomacy leads? If Iran wants respect of the Western world you would think they wouldn't turn their nose up at every instance we try to talk with them. They don't want dialogue, they want a nuclear bomb. It's that plain-and-simple, and anyone who believes otherwise is someone who would wait on a train-track hoping the train stops before smashing them into paste.
